About Purvanchal Expressway

The Purvanchal Expressway is a 341 km long six-lane (expandable to eight lanes) expressway that connects Lucknow to Ghazipur. Passing through 9 major districts, it has drastically reduced travel time and opened doors for economic growth in Eastern Uttar Pradesh. The Purvanchal Expressway starts from Chandsarai village in Lucknow district and ends at Haidaria village in Ghazipur district, where it is planned to be further extended through a Greenfield Expressway to connect with Bihar in the future.”
